Eco Art 

​

It’s a natural evolution to move from printing with flowers to dying with them, Eco printing with the flowers from your garden creates beautiful colours on paper. Best done outside in the summer, it’s fun but slightly messy. You tightly bind organic matter with pre soaked wet paper.  Alum (aluminum acetate) used in the wetting of the paper and added to the  steaming hot water helps to transfer the colour from the plants to the paper. The results are wonderful and you will be surprised at what plants give the best colours.
